How much equity does a hand lose as more players see the flop?
Ace-king offsuit has 65.5% against one random hand and only 19.2% against eight. Every hand loses equity multi-way, but big unpaired cards lose the most and pairs and suited connectors the least.
Read the table by rows. Aces fall from 85% to 35% — but their fair share falls from 50% to 11%, so their edge stays large. Ace-king offsuit falls from 65% to 19%, while a hand like jack-ten suited goes from 58% to 18%: by eight opponents the suited connector has almost caught the premium unpaired hand, because it makes the straights and flushes that win big pots.
Seven-deuce offsuit bottoms the table everywhere, and pocket deuces are a coin flip heads-up but only 12% against eight: a small pair without a set is nothing multi-way.
